How do I know if I have Social Anxiety?

It is common to feel anxious when we are scrutinised by others, for example in a job interview. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that public speaking is something most people find intimidating.

However, with social anxiety you feel uncomfortable in normal social situations, like parties and other large group gatherings. In extreme cases, you feel like you withdraw from all social contact.
